Collaboration x Murakami
In 2020, as a UI Designer / Art Director, I was involved in a project with Perrier, focused on designing a landing page for their collaboration with Takashi Murakami. Part of the launch of a promotional film by Artefact 3000, the project aimed to blend Murakami's art with Perrier's identity. My role was to create an interface that would reflect this merger while respecting Perrier's image.
The design of the landing page for the Perrier x Takashi Murakami collaboration presented specific technical challenges, particularly in aligning with Perrier's CMS integration.
To create a unique yet coherent user experience, I developed a tailor-made UI kit, perfectly adapted to the CMS components and aligned with the project's expectations.
Another critical challenge was to harmonize the page with the distinct visual identities of Perrier and Takashi Murakami. This process required rigorous validation of each element by both parties, ensuring an authentic and balanced representation of this artistic collaboration.
The process began with the creation of low-fidelity wireframes. These preliminary sketches were crucial for validating the content layout and key component functionalities. Subsequently, high-fidelity wireframes were developed to refine the client's and artist's vision.
After these stages were approved, I developed a comprehensive UI library tailored for developers, ensuring the design met technical requirements. This library formed the foundation for the mobile and desktop versions of the landing page. The final product, complete with recommendations and enhancement suggestions, was delivered to the client, ensuring smooth integration and adherence to expectations.
